Catalogue of an exhibition Miquel Barcelo to the National Museum Reina Sofia of Madrid in 1999. This exhibition was devoted only to works on paper of Barcelo, since surprising compositions of 1980 until the more known topics of the end of the Nineties than Barcelo devoted to Africa. The most outstanding works are those of 1994 with the series of gouaches on notebooks eaten by the termites (many other notebooks of Barcelo are reproduced here), or the still lives with fishes, craniums or vegetables and fruits.
